Mainly vintage kitchen towels are used to make the clothes. The material of these fabrics are cotton or linen. Some fabrics contain a combination of cotton and linen. For other filling, cotton or linen (or a combination of these) will also be used. So the items will consist mainly of cotton and/or linen, guaranteeing a better feel and quality.

We try to use as little new material as possible in our products. This is not always possible because it depends on the design of the garment. However, the kitchen towels are genuinely vintage. These kitchen towels date back all the way. What time period they come from varies a lot. For example, fabrics from the early 80/90’s are used. And some fabrics are even older than 1960. Even tho the clothing gets created in 2024 the kitchen towels are vintage, making it not only unique but also eco-friendly and generally more sustainable. This way, I try to contribute to a better world!

The prices vary because of the rarity of the cloth and the amount of time that the cloth is saved for a piece, since I collect the pieces over a longer period of time to fit together perfectly. It takes multiple bulk buys to achieve this, because of this the price is higher.
